Bring your partner on this popular Louisiana Adventure! Your professional tour guide will introduce to you one of our most colorful ethnic groups, the Cajuns of South Louisiana. Learn about their French-Canadian history and Louisiana folklore, as well as contributions to modern society. During a boat cruise of the swamplands narrated by a native guide, view cypress trees laden with Spanish moss, tropical foliage, and wildlife indigenous to the area up close. You may even see some alligators! Soft drinks are available for purchase as you journey through the wetlands.

Do the “Steamboat Shuffle” as you stroll though lovely Woldenberg Park to the majestic Steamboat Natchez. Docked near Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter, the Natchez is the only authentic steam-powered paddlewheeler on the river. As the steam calliope plays, step back in time on board for an afternoon of lively entertainment. Dixieland jazz is featured on the cruise, as you stroll the decks to enjoy the Mighty Mississippi River. Observe the riverfront of the Crescent City and enjoy a tour of the engine room!

Important Notes:

• Registrations must be received by February 8, 2003.
• Tour registration will also be accepted, via fax and U.S Mail. Simply print this form (PDF), and fax it to 504-944-0815, or mail it to: Custom Conventions 505 Mandeville St. New Orleans, LA 70117
• Tickets for tours may be picked up, beginning on Friday, March 7, at the NACCU Tour Desk(location & times tba).
• Custom Conventions will send confirmations to the address/fax number/email address on the form.
• Please present your confirmation at the Tour Registration Desk, to receive the optional program tickets ordered.
• All tours depart from the Marriott Hotel, Canal Street entrance.
• Custom Conventions, coordinator of the tours, reserves the right to cancel any tour where minimum registration numbers are not met. In the event of a cancellation by Custom Conventions, all registration fees will be returned.
• Refunds are given only by written request for tours canceled a minimum of three weeks in advance. Deadline for cancellation is February 15, 2003. Refunds will be issued after the meeting.
• Tour registration is open to NACCU attendees and their families.
• All tours include tax.
